Six things we ask of every donor
You will never be a surrogate. Your part is a small number of eggs, and it ends at retrieval. Thank you for reading this far, and for thinking about it at all.

A few questions
The screening takes a few minutes and asks the basics. We read every one ourselves and write back to the women we would like to hear more from.
Your profile, in your own words
The longer form is your story as you tell it, your family history included, with a mix of photographs from childhood to now. This is how they will get to know you. It is never public. Only parents we have approved will ever see it.
A conversation
Before anyone goes on our donor list, we have talked face to face on a video chat. That is where we get to know each other, explain the donation process to you, and where you ask your questions too!
If a family chooses you
A full medical screening at the fertility clinic, a psychological assessment, a genetic screening, an attorney to go through the contract with you. Every fee is paid by the family, never by you.
About two weeks of appointments
Once the doctor clears you, a nurse coordinator sets up your cycle. Eight to ten early visits for blood work and ultrasound, daily injections you give yourself, a phone you keep near you, and no sex while the medication is working. Possible side effects feel like a PMS: maybe some bloating, a headache, a little tiredness.
The retrieval, and after
Under light anaesthesia, about thirty minutes, and you feel nothing while it happens. Some cramping and bloating afterwards passes by your next period, which comes within a couple of weeks. You receive your compensation as soon as the clinic confirms your retrieval took place.
